Keeneland

In April, our friends John and Alli invited us to the Keeneland Races.  Lexington, KY is only 1.5 hours from Cincinnati, and the Keeneland racetrack was one of the best set-up I have been to (I've been to Steeplechase in Nashville and the Preakness in Baltimore).  There were six different races, easy betting, and close access to the track.  Plus, we got to dress up!

There is a walkabout area where you can see the horses and jockeys before the race.  Alli and I loved a particular horse, and planned to bet on it, but then discovered his was the least favored horse in the race.  He ended up winning!  Totally should have gone with our gut (and made $100)!
